From the deck of the ship you will admire the beautiful nature of the Canal and the inclined planes system, considered one of the most outstanding hydrotechnical solutions in the world. During the cruise, passengers are accompanied by comments of the ship's captain, who talks about the history and principles of hydrotechnical constructions.
A swimming pool with heated water, counter-current and a cover for bad weather is available to guests of our 4 cottages - locatedat cottage no. 8. The current price list can be found in the OFFER of each cottage under the description of a specific cottage. The pool also has RGB lighting and a seating area with sun loungers and a hammock. The swimming pool is closed from October 21 to April 19.
The facility has 3 kayaks, a stable rowing boat and a SUP board with a paddle. There are life jackets for adults and children on site. In Ostróda, along the promenade of Lake Drwęckie, there is a city beach and several marinas where you can rent water equipment (kayaks, pedal boats, yachts, Omega sailboats, etc.). Wakepark Ostróda a four-post ski lift with a track length of 800 m and a number of ramps and jumps. Water equipment rentals are also available in Miłomłyn at the city beach.

Kayaking on the picturesque and clean river of Marózka, lasting about 2-3 hours. The current is quite fast, but it is suitable for families with children. The route passes through a forest, so it is ideal for hot days. At the end of the route you can take a bath in a very clear lake. Another kataking routes are on Drwęca, Szelążnica, Łyna, Krutynia rivers, Ostróda-Elbląg Canal, and the beaver reserve of Pasłęka river.

Graduation tower in Miłomłyn on Lake Ilińsk (Jelonek) with a picturesque forest spa path that you can make a loop or walk along the lake. There are benches, sheds, exercise equipment and wooden elements for balance exercises along the route. The facility is open to the public, open from April 1 to October 31 at hours set by the manager.
Our cottages are located in the heart of a large beech-pine forest, where you can find a number of paved roads, forest ducts and paths suitable for cycling. The cottages are equipped with 3 mountain bikes, a 16-inch bicycle for a child, a push bike, 2 bicycle seats and a 1 child bike trailer. We suggest several short routes in the immediate area, several medium-length routes of about 20-30 km, off-road and long-distance routes.
For our little guests we have prepared a playground with sandpit and sand toys, a water track, a trampoline, soccer goals, a badminton net and an archery bow. In case of bad weather the kids will still have fun in our special cabin with a playroom, featuring a ball pit, soft building blocks, handyman's workshop, toy kitchen, doll house, cars, train set, games, puzzles, books and many more.
In the surrounding area you'll find many interesting places to visit, such as the Summer Capital of Warmia and Mazury - Ostróda, the Heritage Park in Olsztynek, the Battlefield of Grunwald, the historical cities of Olsztyn and Frombork, the Teutonic Castle in Malbork, the Sanctuary in Gietrzwałd, the Stutthof Museum, the Taborska Pine Reserve, Sources of the Łyna River Nature Reserve, the Dylewskie Hills Landscape Park and the Forest Arboretum in Kudypy.
Picturesque lakes around Winiec attract anglers: the nearest Lake Bartężek - with a developed shoreline with many bays and peninsulas and a dozen islands, the nearby Lake Ilińsk (Jelonek) separated by an embankment of a disused railway route, Lake Ruda Woda - with many deep holes, underwater hills and several small islands and Drwęckie Lake - a large reservoir through which the Drwęca River flows. These lakes are famous for pike and zander.
We recommend the Orkiro stable - an extremely friendly, family-run place, located among picturesque hills, fields and groves. Horse riding lessons on the square and in the field. Children will enjoy walks on lovely ponies and interesting "Pony Games" classes - fun and performing various tasks on ponies, so that they get used to riding on back of the animal and practice coordination. If you prefer a place closer to Winiec, instructor Anna Woźniak (tel. 504 089 469) also gives riding lessons in Majdany Małe.
During winter we provide free access to 8 sets of cross-country skis (shoe sizes 32, 33, 37, 40, 42, 2x43 and 44). In the immediate vicinity of the houses there are plenty of forest roads that are ideal for exploring. On the spot there are also sledges, snow shovel sledges and mini skis for the little ones. An hour away from us is the "Kurza Góra" ski resort with the longest downhill route in northern Poland (900 m), three different ski runs (a total of 2.5 km of slopes), a winter amusement park for children and a ski school. Other slopes in the area: Kartasiówka, slope in Lubstynek and Wygoda.
Although the forests in the immediate vicinity of the cottages are mixed beech and pine forests, which do not seem too "mushroom-producing", you can come across several different species of mushrooms - majestic kites, chanterelles hidden in the moss and handsome boletus, which at first glance hard to see among the colorful leaves. For larger "hunts" it is worth going to the pine forests growing along the road No. 530 in the direction of Dobre Miasto. We especially recommend the area halfway between the exit from route no. 7 and the town of Szeląg - forest parking lot marked on the map.
